Will Republicans confirm a warbler?

Conservative confusion over President Obama's nominee as attorney general, Loretta Lynch, has been straightened out, and Republicans vow that she faces a rough road to confirmation by the Senate. "It's understandable that the president is feeling abandoned and unappreciated just now,"Mitch McConnell, the next Senate majority leader, reportedly remarked in a strategy session, "and she is a proud daughter of Kentucky, but this doesn't justify turning the Justice Department over to someone whose claim to fame is that she once recorded 'Stand by Your Man.'"
