At Thursday's meeting of the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, Cubs staffers were on hand to outfit supporters in the audience with buttons and T-shirts that used the same scare tactic employed by Northwestern University in its quest to tear down the former Prentice Hospital: a blatantly bogus threat to move.
"Keep the Cubs," the shirts and buttons read, "Save Wrigley Field."
